Your Agreement

This Privacy Policy explains our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information collected by WynTec, LLC.    This Privacy Policy applies to data collected by WynTec, LLC (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) and its related entities through our web sites and other methods.  By using our websites and other services you consent to this Privacy Policy in whole.  If you disagree with any part of this agreement, you should discontinue using our website and services.

Age Restrictions

Our web sites are for people age 18 or older.  In certain jurisdictions, the age of majority may be older than 18.   If you are younger than the age of majority in your country and/or province of your legal residence, you are not entitled to use of our web sites and should discontinue any use of our web sites.

Other Wyntec Privacy Policy Agreements

We may provide multiple web based sites for the general public, marketing, our customers’ employees and contractors, and our business partners’ employees and contractors.  Privacy Policies as part of customer agreements and business partner agreements will supersede this general Privacy Policy.

General Information

We respect the privacy of our customers, business partners and other visitors to our websites. We recognize the need for appropriate protections and management of your personal information.  This Privacy Policy will assist you to understand what personal information we collect and how that personal information is used.

What information do we collect?

On our web sites, depending upon how your account is registered to use our site,  you can view various pages, use our software products, request information, subscribe to newsletters and product announcements, download marketing or support materials,  view webinars, access product documentation, product support, services and training, or apply for jobs.  We may collect information about individuals such as their name, address, telephone number or email address, user IDs and passwords.

We may collect information about an organization’s name, address, and individuals (employees and contractors) needed for Wyntec to market and provide its services to its customers and prospects.

Personal information collected online may be supplemented with information you provide to us by other sources such as trade shows, webinars or seminars, and other data appending methods such as spot tags, tracking and cookies as referenced below.

We may also collect information about you from third party providers of mailing lists or other information to assist us in our business operations.

Hosted Data Extraction and Transformation Services

The A2BData™ offering from us collects metadata about your data repositories and files and stores this information on cloud-based servers.  This includes IP addresses, your server names, table and file names, data types, data formats, etc.  This metadata is stored on our servers so A2BData™ can perform its data movement and transformation services.  We never collect or store any of our customers’ content of their data files or tables on our servers.  You should refer to the Privacy Policy associated with the licensing of the A2BData™ product since this Privacy Policy does not apply.

Security of Personal Information

We take information security seriously and use reasonable administrative, technological, physical and managerial methods to protect your information.  For example we use Secure Sockets in TCP/IP for certain data transmissions in order to encrypt information sent to us.   To protect the privacy of any personal information you may have provided, we, or the service providers we use, employ controls including physical access controls, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and network monitoring.

How do we use collected information?

We will use collected information to provide customers, business partners and website visitors with information, deploy services and to help us better understand your needs and interests.  For example, we use your information to help you complete a transaction or order, to communicate with you, to deliver products/services to you, to bill you for products/services you purchased, and to provide ongoing service, support or training.If you do not provide us with your personal information, we may be unable to complete these functions.  Occasionally we may use your information to contact you, directly or through a service provider, to complete surveys that we use for marketing and quality assurance purposes.

With whom do we share personal information?

We may also pass on your information to a third party, such as a partner.  We contract with third party service providers and suppliers (including distributors and resellers) to deliver certain products, services and customer solutions.  We may share personal information with service providers and suppliers to the extent needed to deliver the service or respond to requests for information on products or services or otherwise support the business needs of prospects and customers.

Third party service providers and suppliers receiving personal information are expected to apply the same level of privacy protection as contained in this Privacy Policy. They are required to keep confidential the personal information received from us and may not use it for any purpose other than as originally intended.

 If you register for, buy or use such services, both our company and the other company may receive information collected in conjunction with our services.  Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we are not in the business of selling or renting your  information to others and will not share personally identifiable information with other third parties not directly involved in providing services (e.g. software support, training, consulting),  unless required by, or in connection with, law enforcement action, subpoena or other litigation, or applicable law or in connection with a prospective or actual sale, merger, transfer or other reorganization of all or parts of our business, if and to the extent legally permissible.

We reserve the right to fully use and disclose any information that is not in personally identifiable form.

Suggestions and Ideas

Any suggestions for improvements, new products or services, changes to our website, etc.  become our property with no commitment to remunerate you in any way.

Forums and Blogs

Some of our websites allow our users to publish content via discussion forums, blogs, user-editable documents, and commenting systems. Any information that is disclosed in these forums becomes our property and, at our discretion, may be made public which could be read, collected or used by other users to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these means of communication  (e.g. your email address, employer or name).  You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal information.

We may send emails regarding our products and services to users who have posted to our discussion forums, blogs, user-editable documents, and commenting systems, even if those people are not customers, business partners, our employees or users of our free or billable services.

Each participant's opinion expressed is his or her own and should not be considered as reflecting the opinion of our company.   We reserve the right to edit or delete content submitted to websites in forums, blogs, knowledge base or other data repositories.  We may delete an account for any reason, including abusive language or racism.

Devices You Use To Access Our Web Sites or Services

We may collect information from any device you use, such as a smart phone, cellular phone, tablet, or other device cable of directly or indirectly connecting to the Internet.

Providing Us Your Information From Other Non-Wyntec Web Sites or Services

If you login through other services (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) or provide us your ID to these other sites, we may collect information from those services.  We will never store your password used on these sites.

Cookies and Other Technology

We may use cookies and other technology (e.g. web beacons, pixel tags, clear gifs, spotlight tags) on our web sites or to provide services including training, consulting, and support.  Cookies are small amounts of data sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies can help a website recognize repeat users, and allow a website to track web usage behavior.Changing the settings in your web browser to not accept cookies, may prevent you from using certain functions and features of our web sites and services.

To improve web site user experience:  We collect and/or log  Internet Protocol addresses, Internet domain names, the web browser and operating system used to access our web sites, the visitor’s location, your language, site preferences, login information, data to pre-populate forms, and information to provide chat services, blogging, forums, support, training and other web-based services and tools we provide.  This information is also used to improve the safety and security of our website, authenticate user accounts,  allow you to access your private accounts on our site, allow you to sign into our portals with the  use of only one login, and remember information that you have submitted on various forms when you request services on our site.

To improve our web site content, design and performance:  We use cookies that collect information about how you use our website, including which pages you visited, the amount of time spent on each page, errors that occurred, time and data of events.  We use this information to improve our site content, identify popular pages and viewing patterns, balance the internet traffic on web servers, and to improve overall performance of our web sites.

Links to Other Websites

Our web sites may provide links to third-party web sites for your convenience.   If you access those links, you will leave our website.  We do not control those sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from ours.   We do not endorse or make any representations about third party web sites. The personal data you choose to give to unrelated third parties is not covered by our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting any personal information. 

Transfer of Your Information to Other States and Countries

The Internet is a global environment and users of the Internet may have their traffic sent to various countries.    In accordance with applicable law, personal information covered by this Privacy Policy may be transferred to, and processed in, your country of residence or another country.  These countries may include the United States or any other country even if the level of data privacy required in that country is less than required by the European Union or under the Safe Harbor.  Your internet provider may use services and servers located in various countries.  Also we may host servers or use services provided by organizations in other countries.  By submitting your personal information to us, you consent to such transfers and to the worldwide processing of your personal information.Personal information may be transferred across state and country borders for data consolidation and storage to simplify our business operations.

 Access and Correction

If you would like to request access to or have a correction made to personal information that we may have collected from you (possibly subject to handling fees), please contact privacy@wyntec.com.   To protect your privacy and security, we may take steps to verify your identity, such as a password and user ID, before granting access, making changes or deleting information.We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.  If you wish to cancel a software license, please follow the process identified in the software license signed by your organization.

 If you wish to cancel your personal account associated with our website or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at privacy@wyntec.com.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 Advertisements of Products and Services

We may display ads on our web sites for products and services from our company or third parties.  Clicking on these ads may transfer information about you and may also cause cookies or other technology to be installed on your device.

Changes to this Policy

As we update and change our organization’s products and services, we may update this Privacy Policy at any time.  We will review and update this Privacy Policy periodically and will note the date of its most recent revision at the top of the Privacy Policy web page.  The most current version will supersede all previous versions.   If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will send you a notification to the email address we have on file for you, if you have created an account with us.    If you disagree with the revised Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of web site.
